1. 2025 National Champions Marker
For the second time in three seasons and for the eighth time in school history, LSU claimed the College World Series title, as the Tigers capped their championship season on June 22 with a 5-3 win over Coastal Carolina.
The LSU pitching staff led the nation in strikeouts with 760, and the Tigers finished No. 4 in strikeouts per nine innings (11.7), No. 6 in hits allowed per nine innings (7.27) and No. 7 in ERA (3.73).
The LSU hitters completed the season No. 6 in the nation in runs scored (536), No. 7 In bases on balls (360), No. 8 in hits (671) and No. 9 in doubles (136).
The 2025 Tigers featured three First-Team All-Americans: National Pitcher of the Year Kade Anderson, pitcher Anthony Eyanson and first baseman Jared Jones; and the National Freshman of the Year, outfielder Derek Curiel.
