On this site December 31, 1906-January 1907, a revival was conducted by G. B. Cashwell in an old 3-story tobacco warehouse. The revival went on for a month as people of many faiths began to seek the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Many seekers were filled and spoke in tongues as the spirit gave them utterance. G. B. Cashwell had brought the experience from Acts 2:1-8 to this area, the South and into our day.
