The ruins of Robert the Devil’s Castle

Les ruines du château de Robert le Diable ont été défrichées et restituées de 1903 à 1905 à l’initiative d’Oscar Cosserat, assisté de Lucien Lefort, architecte. La famille Cosserat a cédé le domaine à la Communauté d’agglomération Rouen-Elbeuf-Austreberthe en 2007, afin d’assurer sa préservation.
The ruins of Robert the Devil’s Castle were cleared and restored from 1903 to 1905 at the initiative of Oscar Cosserat, assisted by the architect Lucien Lefort. In 2007, the Cosserat family transferred the estate to the Rouen-Elbeuf-Austreberthe Metropolitan Community to ensure its preservation.
