1. Engine #11 Marker

Inscription. This 34 ton 0-4-0T+T steam engine was built in April of 1923 by Vulcan Iron Works for the Louisville Cement Company of Speed, Indiana. This meter (narrow) gauge engine was coal fired. Number 11 was used to haul limestone from a quarry a few miles west of the plant for use in cement powder manufacturing.
