1. Hometown Fun Machine Marker
Inscription. Hometown Fun Machine made its debut on May 29, 1976 as one of Six Flags Great America's original opening-day attractions. Originally introduced in Yukon Territory as the Saskatchewan Scrambler, the ride was relocated to Hometown Square in 1978 and re-named to Hometown Fun Machine.

Manufactured by the Eli Bridge Company, this classic scrambler-style attraction is known for its fast-spinning, dual-axis motion that creates a fun swirl of centrifugal force for riders. As one of the park's long-running family thrill staples, Hometown Fun Machine continues to offer the same chaotic, whirling excitement that has kept it popular for nearly five decades.
