La reconstruction de la place Drouet-d’Erlon est emblématique car elle regroupe un grand nombre de cafés, restaurants et hôtels.

On y remarque des vitrines Art déco (n° 5, boulangerie Waïda, aménagée en 1931 ; n° 36, devanture de pharmacie, 1922) et de nombreuses façades remarquables (n° 2-6, Clauzier et Mériaux, 1924 ; n° 8-14, Gaislin, Sediey sculpteur, 1925 ; n° 23, Sainsaulieu, 1923 ; n° 27, Fanjat, 1922 ; n° 80, Bellou, Bellanger, Collet, 1924 ; angle rues M.-Dormoy et T.-Dubois, Clauzier et Mériaux, 1924).

The reconstruction of the place Drouet-d’Erlon is symbolic because it contains a significant number of cafes, restaurants and hotels.

Of note here are the preserved Art Deco windows (no. 5, Waïda bakery, fitted in 1931; no. 36, pharmacy front window, 1922) and the many remarkable façades (nos. 2-6, Clauzier and Mériaux, 1924; nos. 8-14, Gaislin, sculptor Sediey, 1925; no. 23, Sainsaulieu, 1923; no. 27, Fanjat, 1922; no. 80, Bellou, Bellanger, Collet, 1924; corner of rues M.-Dormoy and T.-Dubois, Clauzier and Mériaux, 1924).
