Inscription. Jeff "Prime Time" Lampkin captured the IBF Cruiserweight World Title on March 17, 1990, with a fifth-round knockout over Glenn McCrory in London. With a career built on hard-hitting power and a never-quit attitude, Lampkin embodied Youngstown grit in the ring. Despite setbacks earlier in his career, Lampkin's world title win was a triumphant moment of perseverance and skill that earned him lasting respect in boxing circles.
