1. Palais de justice / Palace of Justice Marker
Situé à l’emplacement de l’ancien Hôtel-Dieu, dont il reste les celliers gothiques et des éléments de façade d’époque Louis-XV, le bâtiment est dessiné sous la Restauration par l’architecte royal Mazois et par son successeur Caristie, assisté de Serrurier, architecte de la ville.
Anticipant le style « Beaux-Arts », dans un répertoire monumental caractéristique, il est inauguré en 1839, à l’exception du côté sud édifié en 1912.
L’intérieur est reconstruit en 1928, la salle des pasperdus réaménagée avec mezzanine en 1977.

Anticipating the Beaux-Arts style, with a characteristic monumental repertoire, it was opened in 1839, except for the south side, which was built in 1912.
The interior was rebuilt in 1928, and the main hall was reorganized with a mezzanine in 1977.

Mit Ausnahme seiner Südseite, die 1912 entstand, wurde das Gebäude im Jahr 1839 als Vorläufer des „Beaux-Arts“-Stils, mit seinem monumentalen Repertoire, eingeweiht.
Der Innenbereich wurde 1928 umgebaut und im Jahr 1977 wurde die Wandelhalle mit einem Zwischengeschoss ausgestattet.

After the war, with a new roof and fencing (see previous picture), but the facade had yet to be completely repaired. The still-damaged tower of Reims Cathedral is visible behind the Palais.
