1. Cinéma Opéra Marker
Cette salle de cinéma a été réalisée par Émile Thion et Marcel Rousseau. Sa façade remarquable s’inscrit dans le goût Art nouveau des cabarets de Montmartre.
Il s’agit d’accueillir 1 450 personnes. Spectaculaires, les travaux débutent en 1923, ce qui occasionne un chantier où s’exerce une foule d’ouvriers et d’artisans.
On réalise un vaste fronton orné de sgraffites (motifs gravés dans le mortier) et de sculptures. Au niveau de l’entrée, le rythme ternaire de la façade se répercute dans des marquises en béton aux courbes organiques, riches en dessins colorés visibles dans les vitraux et les mortiers suivant le style d’un Art déco naissant.
L’intérieur comportait une fresque de Rousseau-Decelle et un lustre d’Edgar Brandt, mais des travaux menés dans les années 1960 et 1980 ont dégradé l’ensemble. La restauration de la façade est prévue dans le cadre d’un projet incluant logements, bureaux et commerces.

The spectacular works started in 1923. Space had to be provided for 1,450 people, requiring a construction site for a crowd of workers and architects!
A huge pediment decorated with sgraffiti (patterns etched into mortar) and sculptures was created. At the entrance, the ternary rhythm of the façade echoes in the concrete canopies with their organic curves, which are richly in coloured patterns that are visible in the windows and the mortar following a budding Art Deco style.
The interior includes a Rousseau-Decelle fresco and a chandelier by Edgar Brandt, but work carried out in the 1960s and 1980s damaged the entire structure. Restoring the façade is planned as part of a project including housing, offices and shops.

Die spektakulären Arbeiten begannen im Jahr 1923: Es sollten 1.450 Menschen Platz finden, wodurch eine Baustelle entstand, auf der sich zahlreiche Arbeiter und Handwerker befanden.
Ein großer Giebel mit Sgraffiti (eingravierten Motiven im Zement) und Skulpturen wird angefertigt. Am Eingang spiegelt sich der ternäre Rhythmus der Fassade in Betonüberdachungen mit organischen Rundungen wider, die in farbenfrohen Mustern in den Buntglasfenstern und dem Mörtel nach Art des aufstrebenden Art Deco zu sehen sind.
Der Innenraum hatte ein Fresko von Rousseau-Decelle und einen Kronleuchter von Edgar Brandt, aber bei den in den 1960er und 1980er Jahren durchgeführten Arbeiten wurde dies alles beschädigt. Im Rahmen eines Projekts, das Wohnungen, Büros und Geschäfte umfasst, ist auch die Restaurierung der Fassade vorgesehen.
