1. Heaton Moor Marker

Inscription. Built in 1923 in Edwardian Baroque style, it then showed silent movies. In 1930 it was adapted for sound. During WWII it became an evacuation centre. A Locally Listed building, it was completely refurbished in 2015 to a very high standard and was upgraded to digital projection.
