Mike Radcliff, a member of the Twins organization since 1987, was named Vice President, Player Personnel in September of 2007. He was named Scout of the Year in the Midwest by his peers in Major League Baseball. Radcliff currently leas the club's overall player evaluation process at both the Major and Minor League levels, assists Terry Ryan and Rob Anthony in negotiating player contracts and oversees the club's professional and amateur scouting staff, including the scouting of international players.

Radcliff began his scouting career in 1983 as an area scout with the Major League Scouting Bureau. He was hired as an area scout by the Minnesota Twins in 1987 and promoted to Midwest Supervisor in 1988.

In 1993 Radcliff was named the Director of Scouting and was the longest tenured Scouting Director in Major League Baseball serving in that capacity until 2007.

During his 14 years as the Twins Director of Scouting Radcliff's name as all over future Twins players, but perhaps his biggest coup was selecting Minnesota high schooler Joe Mauer with the top pick in 2001. Along with Mauer, Radcliff is responsible for selecting
