1. M-M2A2 Howitzer 105mm Towed Marker

Inscription.
Type adopted in 1941 for use in the Field Artillery Battalions of the Infantry Divisions. Prime mover was a 2-1/2 ton truck ora halftrack. More than 8,500 were built during by the end of the Korean War and almost 3,000 more were built since then. Type was still in use in Vietnam as the M-101A1. About About 6,000 are in use around the world.
