1. The Site of Florida’s Constitutional Convention Marker
Nestled amongst a live oak-lined neighborhood, Port St. Joe is home to the site of Florida's first Constitutional Convention. In 1838, state delegates crafted the first Florida Constitution under a large live oak. Today, the park features a replica convention hall and exhibits that transport visitors to this historic moment in Florida history. The park continues southward offering stunning views of St. Joseph Bay and the Gulf of America.
