Vietnam War 173 Airborne Combat Team. KIA Binh Dinh Province Nov. 25, 1969 at 19 years 2mo of age, by an explosive device. Southeastern High School honored Sgt Lunsford with an honorary H.S. diploma and a memorial stone on school property on May 31, 2015. His home was Vigo, OH Billy was a rising baseball star.
