1. John Milton Turner Marker
Born in Frisco, TX in 1935. After losing his sight as a teenager, Turner went on to be successful in business and was appointed by six Governors to serve more than three decades on the Texas Commission for the Blind, was a Director on the Board of Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind and served 17 years as a Trustee of The Seeing Eye of Morristown, NJ.
John Turners leadership by example has inspired thousands of others to strive for success. He continually gives generously of his time and self to help others to confront the challenge of vision loss and move forward with confidence.
