1. Dr. Isaac Stewart Rogers Home Marker
Isaac Rogers was born in 1861 on a farm northeast of Frisco where his fathers family settled in 1847. As a lad Isaac attended Allen Academy in the Bethel area and in 1886 received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. His first practice was in Little Elm where he partnered with his future brother-in-law, Dr. J. D. Carpenter. In 1902 Dr. Rogers moved his family and practice to Frisco. He was the new towns first doctor and first mayor. His wife Sudie K. Gough Rogers was a founder of Lillian Rebecca Lodge #132 instituted in Little Elm in 1895. They built this bungalow in 1916 on lots in the Original Donation. Today it is the home of Thomas and Debra Waldsmith.
