1. Frisco Water Tower Marker
Inscription.
Erected in 1924 by Pittsburg-Des Moines Steel Co. to replace wooden tower that burned. With 50,000 gallon capacity, it served as Frisco’s only elevated storage tank until 1985. The logo of the SL & SF Frisco Railroad, for which Frisco was named, is displayed on the tank.
