In 1861-1862 gebouwd in neoclassicistische stijl, naar ontwerp van Levi (Leon) Winkel. Hek langs de straat uit 1876. Gebouw gerestaureerd in 1974. In 1996 aangekocht door de Stichting Behoud Synagoge.

2. Delft Synagogue
The marker is located on the brick wall to the right of the synagogue, just out of view here (but easily seen from the street).
established in Delft, and it began using a home in the Pepersteeg for its prayer services. On October 8, 1861, the foundation stone for the construction of the synagogue was laid by the Delft engineer Leon Winkel, chairman of the Jewish Community of Delft. On August 22, 1862, the synagogue was consecrated by The Hague Chief Rabbi B.S. Berestein.

The Delft Synagogue is a Reconstructionist Jewish congregation and synagogue, located at Koornmarkt 12, in the city of Delft, in the South Holland region of The Netherlands. Designed by L. Winkel in the Neoclassical style, the synagogue was completed in 1862, fell into disuse after World War II, was subsequently restored and reconsecrated from 1974. - Wikipedia
