1. Bolin House Marker
This craftsman-style bungalow was built with a bathroom, but access to it was from the rear porchnot from inside the house! The front features 2 entry doors. The right door leads into the living room and dining area, and opens to the kitchen. From the kitchen, a door opened to the screened-in back porch, then the doorway to the tiny bathroom. The porch could have contained a washing machine and other household items. The other front door entered a bedroom. This room opened to the living room, and another bedroom. A forced-air furnace was in the floor in the central part of the house and heated the entire house.
The building is re-purposed and walls opened up and moved to accommodate the bridal parlor and board room of the Heritage Guild. The living room has been left with exposed boards (ship lap) to show how the house was constructed. Wallpaper would have been on the walls and ceiling.
