1. Union Station, Petersburg, Va. Marker
Located nearby on River St. The N&W Railway completed construction in 1910. It served passengers for both the N&W and ACL railroads until 1971 when it became an Amtrak station. With passenger lines ceasing operation or being diverted to other stations. Union Station concluded operations in 19711. Today it serves as a venue for private and public events.
