1. The Jeffersonville Area Veterans Memorial Committee Marker
Inscription.
The Jeffersonville Area Veterans Memorial Committee was formed on June 10, 2003. It's mission was to research, design and build a memorial to honor veterans who lived, were buried, or attended school in Jefferson Township. The names of 1106 veterans from all wars from the Revolutionary War until the present were etched on the tablets. The memorial was dedicated on July 15, 2006, and was built with donations from the people of Fayette County and elsewhere.
