1. Good Friday Quake Marker
Inscription.
March 27, 1964 at 5:36 PM Kodiak experienced the largest earthquake ever recorded in North America, The corrected magnitude was 9.2 lasting over four minutes. The 500 MPH tsunami was measured at 30 feet high on Kodiak island.
