Soup House
In dit pandje werd de soep gemaakt die 's winters met een aantal turfjes aan de armen uitgedeeld werd. Tot aan het einde van de 19de eeuw werd de soep in het tegenverliggende Zeekantoor gekookt en uitgedeeld maar dat oude gebouwencomplex werd gesloopt.

Soup House
This small building is where the soup was prepared that was distributed to the poor during the winter, along with a supply of peat. Until the end of the 19th century, the soup was cooked and distributed at the Maritime Office (Zeekantoor) across the way, but that old complex of buildings was demolished.
