1. Herkimer County Bank — 1833 Marker

Inscription. The Herkimer County Bank was the first bank in Herkimer County. It was constructed of native stone in Greek Revival style architecture. Saved from urban renewal demolition, the building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970. Since 1985 it has been the Little Falls Historical Society Old Bank Building Museum.
