1. First Arab Town Hall Marker

Inscription.
Arab's first Town Hall building was constructed in 1952. Offices for the Town Clerk, Water and Fire Departments, a jail, a garage for the fire truck and public restrooms were all contained in the building. The building was used by the Police Department when City Hall personnel moved to the Arab Recreation building in 1988. In 1992 the building was vacated by the city when the Hall building was completed on North Main Street.
