M.J. Mishler, carpenter & brethern minister, built this and several other houses in La Verne. Located on a most notable street in the old Lordsburg residential area, this house was one of the first built on this block and retains many original craftsman characteristics: a side porch, arched windows, & oak flooring laid in the pyramid style.
