This Neo-Baroque church was built between 1990 and 1997. It was designed by Bernhard Haass of Mönchengladbach using a modern skeletal construction. The Baroque interior was created by Otto Kobel and H. Peicker, and the 17-stop organ was built by the Mühleisen company. The church is the headquarters of the German District of the Society of Saint Pius X. Mass is celebrated in Latin according to the Roman Catholic rite.
