Dieser Platz ist nach der ehemaligen Lederfabrik C. F. Roser benannt. Im Jahre 1834 erfolgte die Gründung der Firma in Heilbronn, welche 1872 als Lederfabrik in Feuerbach neu gegründet wurde. Die erheblichen Schäden durch Luftangriffe in den Jahren 1944/45 wurden nach Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges wieder behoben. Nach vielen erfolgreichen Jahren musste 1994 die Produktion in Feuerbach eingestellt werden, es erfolgte unter Erhaltung einzelner Firmengebäude eine Nutzungsänderung des Werksgeländes. Im Jahre 1935 wurden auf dem Werksgelände jungsteinzeitliche Siedlungsspuren und Gräber entdeckt.

This square is named after the former C. F. Roser leather factory. The company was founded in Heilbronn in 1834 and reestablished as a leather factory in Feuerbach in 1872. The extensive damage caused by air raids in 1944 and 1945 was repaired after the Second World War. After many successful years, production in Feuerbach ended in 1994. Some factory buildings were preserved, and the site was converted to new uses. Neolithic settlement remains
