1. Schulhaus / Schoolhouse Marker
In diesem denkmalgeschützten Schulhaus war bis 1909 eine der hiesigen Volksschulen untergebracht, danach bis 1957 die Gewerbeschule. Heute gehört es wie auch das ehemalige Bandhaus zur Föhrichschule.
Feuerbach’s first schoolhouse stood here as early as the 16th century. Before that, classes were held in rooms adjoining the church. After the building was expanded in 1688, a new schoolhouse was constructed here in 1725. It became structurally unsafe and had to be demolished in 1808. The present building was constructed in 1809. This protected historic schoolhouse contained one of the local elementary schools until 1909 and then the vocational school until 1957. Today, it and the former Bandhaus are part of the Föhrich School.
