Huis in 1840-1841 gebouwd naar ontwerp van Pieter Adams. in een streng neoclassicistische stijl. Woonhuis van Hendrick van Berckel. eigenaar van de distilleerderij genaamd 'De Papegaaij' die zich in een voormalige brouwerij achter het huis bevond.

House, in an austere neo-classical style, designed by Pieter Adams, built in 1840-1841. Private house of Hendrick van Berckel. He owned a distillery named: ‘De Papegaaij’ (Parrot) situated in a former brewery behind the house.
