This small marker accompanies three tablets that have been embedded among the pavers around the blue Harris County historical marker about Katy's first schoolhouse, which was at this site. Two tablets are from 1927 and list the PTA members and trustees of the school. The other tablet is related to a 1989 renovation of the existing school.
