Inscription.
Oaks Court Modern Cabins were located along the east side of Route 66 in St. Robert, just a quarter mile west of the Neon Park. A few of the cabins remain and have been remodeled over the years. The sign was originally located on the roof of what is now known as Bassett Insurance Agency. The property was purchased by Kenneth and Susan Bassett in 1977 when the family opened Bassett Insurance & Real Estate and Oaks Court Apartments and Trailer Park. The sign was removed at that time and stored in a garage until March 2015, when it was donated for use in the Route 66 Neon Park. This building also served as an ice cream shop in the 1950s and 60s.
