1. Tower Hill Passageway: Queen's House Marker
Inscription. The Queen’s House was built in Henry VIII’s reign. It is one of the only wooden buildings which survived the Great Fire of London in 1666. It is now the home of the Resident Governor of the Tower, the castle’s commanding officer.
