1. The Middle Drawbridge Marker
The Middle Drawbridge entrance was built in 1834 when the Duke of Wellington was in charge of the Tower.
It was used to load military supplies onto ships from stores in the Tower.
A huge fire destroyed the Tower’s Grand Storehouse in 1841.
Today the strengthened drawbridge can carry the weight of a modern fire engine.

2. The Middle Drawbridge Marker
The marker is located on the Tower Wharf, south of the White Tower.
Służył do ładowania dostaw wojskowych z magazynów w Tower na statki.
Ogromny pożar zniszczył Magazyn Wielki w 1841 roku. Dzisiaj ten wzmocniony most może wytrzymać wagę nowoczesnego wozu strażackiego.

3. The Middle Drawbridge
The Middle Drawbridge crosses the moat, and is one of the entrances to the Tower of London.
