Inscription.
Pierre and Shirley Thompson and Paul Thompson.

Through their generous financial support, the Thompson family has demonstrated their commitment to historic preservation and their dedication to advancing the mission of Flagler College.

One of the original Ponce De Leon Cottages Thompson Hall was built by Henry M. Flagler in 1888.

The Queen Anne style residence was the winter home to Pennsylvania industrialist and philanthropist Alexander Brinton Coxe and his wife, Sophia; their daughter, Anna, and her husband, Charlton Yarnall.

From 1911-1925, Captain and Mrs. Henry Marcotte occupied the residence. Captain Marcotte had a distinguished military career, and his wife, Anna, was a dedicated civic volunteer.
