This house, which was built in the 1890s for Henry Loomis and his family, was one of the original residences in Keystone. Mr. Loomis was one of many blacksmiths in Keystone. It also served as the Goodyear Hotel (as shown) and as a boarding house for some of the original Mount Rushmore workers in the 1930s. Later it was returned to a private residence.
