The Valley Crow
According to tradition, particularly large numbers of crows once lived in the Feuerbach valley. They must have been so common that the people of Feuerbach were given the nickname Talkrabben, or valley crows. It is hardly surprising that in 1907 Feuerbach’s town leaders chose the hardworking beaver rather than the cheeky black bird to adorn the town’s coat of arms. Nevertheless, the Talkrabb remains a beloved symbol of Feuerbach for many people.

The Talkrabb figure was donated by Karl and Elfriede Mueller.
