Inscription. On the north side of St Sepulchre Gate is a business with origins in the 1750's. At the North Mall entrance is Bell Brothers jewellers, the business was started by Joseph Bell. He retained the freehold when the properties on that side of the street were demolished to make way for the Frenchgate Centre. On the south side is the Jubilee Buildings, which housed the Jubilee Shoe and Boot shop (now Café Nero) once owned by singing icon David Bowie's grandfather.
