1. Bourbon County Courthouses Marker
Inscription.
Bourbon County has had three courthouse buildings. The first was built around 1855 when Fort Scott became the county seat. The second building was built in 1887 but destroyed by fire in 1929. The Court House was immediately rebuilt and still stands today at 210 S. National Ave.
