Sanierung 'Brauhausareal'

In 1977, the brewery was leased to the Tucher brewery in Nuremberg and subsequently used for storage. From the mid-1980s, the buildings stood empty and deteriorated. After considering various approaches to redeveloping the site, a decision was made in 2007 to preserve and renovate significant structural elements of the old brewery to create new housing. The intention was to avoid recreating Dinkelsbühl’s old town. A copy would diminish the original, even if such a reproduction could succeed. The site was therefore transformed into renovated apartments and townhouses with modern amenities, elevators, and underground parking spaces. A former industrial property became a high-quality residential development.
