Inscription.
This property was first owned by William Campbell who sold the building in 1906.

After several more owners, Sidney Chase bought the building in 1947 and opened Chase Hardware which lasted 15 years. Chase expanded the building and later sold the property to Myra Williams in 1962.

Myra tore down the front wooden structure and built the current cement block building. She ran a flower and gift shop for five years and sold the building to Marvin and Luetta Fritz in 1967.

The building and flower/gift shop was then sold in 1974 to David Guenin who, as a young boy, used to work in the shop every day after school. In 1979 Mr. Guenin converted a portion of the flower/gift shop into a dinner theater named Café de la Rue which served French cuisine and produced local talent shows.

From 1985-1990, Rosemary Petersen operated a soup and sandwich shop as well as a flower shop until 1990. Norma MgGinley managed the restaurant. In 1990 Donna Tophoj bought the building and business. Donna operated the restaurant while her daughters, Anita and Yvonne, ran the flower shop.

In 1993, Charles (Buddy) Paulsen bought the building and the business
