On display in front of the armory is a World War II-era 8-inch howitzer.

This 24-pdr gun, also displayed in front of the armory, was found at Battery White, a Civil War fortification south of the armory overlooking Winyah Bay. This piece conforms to a pattern produced in the late 18th century.
