1. Charles E Parker's Civil War letters.
When James W. Peckham was near death and too ill to write, his tent mate, Charles E. Parker (who is mentioned on this marker), wrote several letters describing James' death to James' wife, Katie Peckham. Charles and Katie continued to correspond for quite a while.
