Jim first worked in Kanab in 1949 on “The Big Cat” and subsequently appeared here in 1951 on “Oh Susannah” followed by “The Badge of Marshal Brennan” and “Raiders of Old California” both made in 1957. Jim also made many episodes of “Death Valley Days” and “Gunsmoke” here in Kanab, before his starring role as the patriarch, “Jack (sic - Jock) Ewing” on the internationally known hit series, “Dallas”.
