Dr. A.R. Randol, lived here in 1879, he having replaced Dr. Frederick V. Hopkins. The company accountant Robert Burnett Smith & his wife Anne Terhune Smith followed & they lived here through 1881. Anne was also a sister-in-law of J.B. Randol, the mines manager from 1870 to 1892.
