We in safety slumber slept, while guarded by our own blue knight. A friend to all when duty called, not afraid to stand and fight. In early hours of that morn, sirens screamed and thunder roared. Our fallen knight lay on the ground, then slipped away to guard the Lord. He lives on in our memories, brave and noble to the end. Patrick McCready, our own blue knight; husband, father, and good friend.
