Inscription. Named in honor of Private Robert T. Henry, 16th Infantry, 1st Infantry Division, posthumously awarded the MEDAL OF HONOR for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity above and beyond the call of duty in action at Luchen, Germany 3 December 1944. Dedicated 29 April 1964 by CYRUS R. VANCE Deputy Secretary of Defense
