Regarding Jessup's Building. The building itself is not listed with the National Register of Historic Places in its own right. It received the NRHP marker as a Contributing Structure within the South Beach Street Historic District (NRHP #88001597).

Charles Jessup opened Jessup's of Daytona in 1931 as a hardware store. As the business passed to his daughters, the store began selling jewelry and discontinued its hardware sales. Four generations later, the family-owned business still specializes in fine jewelry and jewelry repair.
