1. The Prime Minister’s Cabin Marker
Inscription. Prime Minister Ramsey McDonald of England was a frequent guest of President Hoover. The “Press” of that day popularly envisioned these two peace loving leaders sitting on a log in the Camp Hoover area scrapping the navies of the world. After the subsequent naval disarmament conference, the major powers did scrap many obsolete naval vessels. Germany and Japan soon began to rearm their navies with ultra-modern, compact fighting ships like the Graf Spee.
