1. Young Corbett III Marker
Inscription. Born Ralph Capabianca Giordano on May 27, 1905, in Rionero In Vulture, Italy. Young Corbett III embarked on his successful boxing career in Fresno, California in 1919, winning the Welterweight Championship of the world on February 22, 1933.
 
Erected 1973 by Dante Club, Italian Catholic Federation, Sons of Italy, and the Vero Club of Fresno.
